WUR Software Management Plan template and guidance

WUR Libray - RDM support developed this WUR Software Management Plan (SMP) template with guidance. It can be used to outline detailed research software management practices for a research project. It is specifically intended for research software levels medium and high as outlined by the eScienceCenter (see https://zenodo.org/doi/10.5281/zenodo.7038280, page 22-28), which means any code / scripts for which the intend is others reusing it in their own work. The SMP guides users along key aspects that have to be taken into account to approach FAIR principles for research software. This is the first version to be published and will be updated once new insights and experience using this template is gathered. It is not a mandatory template (yet) at WUR.
The SMP template is provided in docx and pdf format. The version history text file will contain documentation of changes made between versions. This template is also available in DMPonline once you select Wageningen University and Research as the organisation without an associated funder (you will be presented with a choice to create a DMP or an SMP).
