    Abstract

The Applied Research of Animal Husbandry conducted a study into improving the vitality of broiler progenitors. During rearing hens were supplied with additional feed by using a spinfeeder and feed with a lower energy level. The cocks were fed by means of feed in the litter. During laying, a study was done into a special kind of cock feed and ammonia emission when turning on the belts for removing manure twice a week.
