Abstract

My grandfather has a washing machine that’s 30 years old, and I think it’sa bit mean because you can make these machines nowadays so that they’reindestructible, so to speak, but it’s not done because then the economy suf-fers because the company then says, ‘Well, then I’ll only sell one washingmachine in a lifetime to everyone. That’s not profitable.’ (female interviewparticipant, 29 years old)
