Abstract

The treatment of Uapaca (Phyllanthaceae) for the Flore du Gabon revealed many, hitherto unknown, synonymies and some overlooked names that deserve a separate publication. Advantage is taken of this treatment to establish the geography of the forest species on an African scale.
