Abstract

The IPM project has been ongoing for a number of years, during which much progress has made. During the first years (2007-2009), the main focus was on the management of red spider mite in rose, while in later years (2009 -2010) up-scaling in terms of acreage, pests and crops became the major issue. More suppliers joined, more growers showed interest, and the formal steps (application, on-farm trials, import permits) became standard practice.
