Abstract
Supporting training and applying the YOLOv7 object detection algorithm to identify objects in aerial imagery, with general applicability for TIF files of aerial images and location data of objects in those images. The project includes scripts for various steps from preprocessing images to detecting objects with YOLOv7 and transforming bounding box to spatial coordinates.
