Abstract

The quarantine nematodes Ditylenchus dipsaci and D. destructor are often routinely identified by morphology. This study identifies optimal conditions for specimen preparation of samples in order that the spiculum shape is clearly observable without distortion and allows the 2 species to be distinguished.
