Abstract
According to the FAO, crops will need to yield twice as much wih half the input for us to still be able to feed the rapidly growing world population in 2050. This goal is attainable if we make good use of available big data from the various omics approaches, say biologists, mathematicians and breeders from Wageningen University and Research Centre.
