Abstract

The Biorefinery for Food, Fuel and Materials 2013 symposium addresses the challenge of how we can use biomass from a variety of sources in an efficient and economical way. This will become possible once we are able to separate individual components from biomass in such a way as to allow them to be used in the most economical or ecological manner.
