Abstract
This document serves as the preregistration of the protocol of un umbrella scoping review on the state of the art of exergames. This umbrella scoping review aims to synthesize evidence from systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping reviews on the effects of exergaming on physical activity (PA), sedentary behavior, energy expenditure (EE), fitness, other physical health outcomes in healthy populations (including overweight and obese people), and to identify key influencing factors, including psychological factors, and target groups most likely to benefit.
