PC programs (packages) for selection procedures are described. Most of them provide the sample size determination for the indifference zone formulation in dependence on given precision requirements (d and β), or the calculation of the distance d between 'good' and 'bad' populations in dependence on n and β. Some provide the calculation of d in dependence on β or vice versa for the subset formulation. An 'ideal' software does not seem to exist yet.
