Abstract

The main aim of the Seminar 'EurepGAP certification & smallholders' was to share experiences with the introduction and institutionalisation of quality systems such as EurepGAP between stakeholders in the export_oriented horticultural sectors of Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Uganda. By sharing the various lessons learnt it is envisaged that the effectiveness and efficiency of EurepGAP introduction and certification approaches in the smallholder sector will be enhanced
