Abstract

The Community Section reflects on how CSPs can empower marginalised stakeholders, paying particular attention to the roles of different actors in and around partnerships. Two interviews with a South African business leader (Judi Sandrock) and a leading business academic (Bobby Banerjee) highlight the potential and importance of cross-sector engagement, but also point out a number of inherent limitations. The Community Section also reports on the 5th biannual symposium on Cross-Sector Social Interactions held in Toronto, 17-20 April 2016.
