Abstract

Ballast water is used in ships to maintain their balance. With the ballast water, non-indigenous organisms are transported aount the world, which may result in local disturbances of coastal ecosystems when the ballast water is discharged. The aim of this project is to assess the ecotoxicological effects of treated ballast water
