    Abstract

    National Monitoring Network for Radioactivity in Food (LMRV)
    There are food monitoring systems throughout the Netherlands that can be used to analyze grass and food samples. These food monitors are equipped with a sodium iodine (NaI) detector and can only measure gamma radiation.

    The LMRV is used for:
    rapid provision of information during nuclear incidents
    regular monitoring
    export certification
