Abstract
This report describes the dissemination, communication and coordination activities of the Precisietuinbouw (precision horticulture) programme and its results. The programme was active between 2017 and 2021 and executed 7 Use Cases in fruit, open field horticulture and protected horticulture. The main topic for all Use Cases was to develop and test machine vision sensor applications that potentially could contribute to a more precise way of horticultural growing based on plant sensors. Each application targeted to visualize every plant on the field or in the greenhouse or every product to be harvested. At the start of the project, most of the techniques available originated from precision arable farming, rather than from the horticultural domain. With this project we contributed to the building of horticultural specific solutions in order to kick-start precision horticulture.
