Abstract
To decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and capture carbon to limit global warming, there is a need to minimize our dependency on fossil and finite resources. An alternative is then to use biomass for new applications. In this report factsheets are presented for different lignocellulosic biomass sources for which their conventional uses are described, but also new uses that may be more circular and can help to exchange fossil resources and capture biogenic carbon.
