Although the subject of food losses and waste is high on the (political) agenda, the actual data availability for different crops, geographic areas and types of food chains and technologies is still very poor. Consequently, also the identification of causes and effective solutions based on data is sort of impossible.
This webinar presents a new methodology that supports the monitoring of food losses in a supply chain with minimal efforts. The presented methodology supports the identification of hotspots for food loss and causes and potential interventions.
The methodology is aiming at bringing about actual solutions, not only measuring.
