Abstract

The invention concerns a recombinant DNA molecule coding for a polygalacturonase (PG) expression cassette comprising the structural gene of a PG and/or corresponding regulatory sequences, or hybrid vectors comprising a DNA derived from a PG gene, further transformed hosts, especially filamentous fungi, methods for the preparation of said recombinant DNA molecules and transformed hosts and the preparation of polypeptides by means of said DNAs and said hosts, purified single PGs either from natural or transformed hosts, the preparation of mixtures of PGs optionally with other enzymes, and the use of PGs or mixtures thereof in industry
