Abstract
This project explores the costs and benefits of implementing regenerative practices on arable and dairy farms. The focus is on quantifying the economic feasibility, with an emphasis on costs, investments, and the impact on soil quality. The study provides insights into the business operations of regenerative agriculture through seven case studies and model calculations. The results highlight both opportunities and barriers for creating a profitable business model, emphasizing the need for further data collection and collaboration to develop sustainable, regeneration-based agricultural business models.
