Nature survey: Dutch people need more greenery

Research output: Non-textual formDigital or Visual Products

Abstract

Every four years, the nature survey is conducted to find out what Dutch people think about environmental policy. This shows that we have an increasing need for a natural environment around us. This need is being reinforced by the coronavirus: for example, Utrecht's Amelisweerd is now so busy that people are bothered by each other. “Although environmental policy lags behind the need for green space, there are already some gems to be found,” says WUR researcher Arjen Buijs.
