    Abstract

    According to the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg in 2002, responsible fisheries management authorities are obliged to maintain or restore stocks to levels that can produce the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) not later than 2015. The feasibility of such an implementation program is of course a matter of concern. This report describes a state of the art concerning MSY
