More sustainable food production thanks to fractionation

Research output: Non-textual formWeb publication/siteProfessional

Abstract

Animal feed remains an ideal application to valorise co-products of grains, legumes and oilseeds into, for example, high-quality animal proteins. Fractionation, a separation process in which a product is divided into several smaller fractions, can form the basis for sustainable food production in combination with animal feed.
