Abstract

Almost all processes in the plant are dependent on temperature. But they all have a different optimum. Photosynthesis for example is sensitive to temperature than the distribution of assimilates in the plant. Therefore the temperature settings need to be managed. Also much can be influenced by the difference between day and night temperature (DIF). The Next Generation Growing makes it easier to play with the temperature. To do this we need to know significantly more about the possibilities.
