Measuring emotions in pigs

Research output: Working paperProfessional

Abstract

Inonge Reimert monitored pig behaviors in positive and negative emotional states and compared the results. For her research, she used The Observer XT for behavioral annotation. She found very different behaviors to be associated with the two situations, such as play and tail wagging in the positive treatment and screams and freezing in the negative.
