Maatschappelijke visies op de toekomst van landbouw en natuur: Achtergrondrapport Landbouw-Natuurverkenning

This study structures the many visions on the future of agriculture and nature in the Netherlands by identifying and explaining the range of objectives, values, target scenarios, linkages and incompatibilities concerning the future of agriculture and nature in the Netherlands they contain. The urgent need to make the social and economic transitions is widely acknowledged in the visions on the future of both agriculture and nature. Although vision statements on agriculture are targeting ‘sustainability’ and those on nature ‘resilience’, there are substantial differences between the perspectives in achieving those objectives.
