Abstract
This paper reviews the work done by the senior author and his colleagues over the last ten years on development and application of a range of tools to support irrigation management. The management process is described as a layered structure connectingthe social context with on-farm operations through subsequent domains of decision. The relevance of decision-support computational tools is described with examples from past applications.
