Abstract

This chapter focuses on the 5 pillars and management tools available for integrated nematode management (INM), i.e. rotation, cultivar choice, soil management, targeted control and monitoring and evaluation. The management tools making up the pillar are also presented, i.e. prevention of nematode introduction, reduction of nematode population densities, improvement of crop tolerance and supportive tools and tactics. Some future challenges and opportunities for INM are also presented.
