Impactanalyse stoppen van gebruik van bestrijdingsmiddelen in grondwater-beschermingsgebieden: Verdiepende studie op quickscan

This study investigated the agricultural, non-agricultural and economic consequences of a generic prohibition on the use of pesticides in groundwater protection areas and the expected improvement of water quality in the extraction wells in an example case, namely the Valtherbos groundwater protection area in the province of Drenthe. The study provides information and building blocks for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, on the basis of which a political judgement can be made as to whether the decision to generically prohibit the use of pesticides in groundwater protection areas is appropriate, necessary and proportionate, aimed at protecting the quality of groundwater as a raw material for drinking water.
