Abstract
This whole book provides ind-depth information about methodology and applications of life cycle assessment. It covers history and latest developments in LCA. The specific chapter gives an overview of the four dominant environmental assessment methods, their characteristics and when they are used. The four methods are technology assessment, environmental impact assessment, and life cycle assessment. The chapter uses municipal waste management in Asia as an example.
