In this report, an assessment has been conducted on the use of dollyrope within the Dutch fishing industry both before and after the restructuring scheme implemented in the Dutch fisheries sector in 2023. Additionally, it offers an overview of potential alternatives to dollyrope along with their present use status.Furthermore, recommendations are presented for the subsequent actions by the Dutch government aimed at phasing out the current usage of dollyrope.
