Het economisch perspectief van energiebesparing door het aanhouden van lagere stooktemperaturen bij potplanten,

    Abstract

The maximum energy saving that can be achieved with a reduction of the heating temperature ranges from 29 m3/m2 per annum (hydrangea: heating temperature reduction 8oC) to 13 m3/m2 per annum (poinsettia: heating temperature reduction 3oC). A reduction of the heating temperature does have economic advantages for poinsettia (Christmas Rose) and hydrangea, provided that the labour operation of 'pegging' can be omitted. No improvement in returns can be expected with cyclamen and chrysanthemum.
