HBM to estimate exposure to mycotoxins: a combined duplicate diet - 24h urine study

    Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterAcademic

    Abstract

Human biomonitoring (HBM) is an alternative approach to assess (dietary) exposure to (food) contaminants such as mycotoxins. Instead of external exposure (level in food x food intake), the integrated internal exposure is determined through measurement of biomarkers in human matrices such as urine.
For use in dietary risk assessment, it is necessary to link internal exposure data from HBM with external exposure through food.
