Abstract

The report considers Environmental Education (EE) as a product in a market situation. A literature review and a questionnaire amongst organisations and individuals involved with Environmental Education provides a number of factors for succes ‘respectively’ failure. In the end the results are combined, on basis of the goals of the EE Policy document from the Ministry of Nature, Fisheries and Foodquality (LNV), the Ministry of Education Culture and Science for schools (primary and secondary education) and research institutions (OCW), and the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM); 2008). The result is an overview of policy options which may lead to a more effective output of Environmental Education.
