Geactualiseerde gunstige referentiewaarden voor populatieomvang en verspreiding van soorten van Bijlage II van de Habitatrichtlijn

The favourable reference values for population size and range for all the species listed in Annex II of the Habitats Directive have been updated in accordance with the amended guidelines from DG Environment of the European Commission. Favourable reference values (FRVs) are used to assess the conservation status of species under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive. The update drew on recent insights into the historical range of populations, the ecological variation found within the range, and population sustainability. Where insufficient knowledge was available, use was made of expert judgement. For each species group, one or more experts from species organisations or other knowledge organisations were consulted for critical comments or additions to the texts.
