Abstract

This report provides insights and lessons generated from different (internal and external) sources and critically reflected upon during a sensemaking workshop in South-Sudan in June 2022. This workshop is part of a series of sensemaking workshops, that aim to support evidence-based and adaptive programming for the Food and Nutrition Security Resilience Program (FNS-REPRO) in Somaliland, Sudan and South Sudan. This program aims to contribute to food and nutrition security and resilient livelihoods in protracted crises, by paying attention to natural resource management (NRM), value chain development (fodder in Somaliland,gum Arabic in Sudan, and seed in South Sudan), and production and consumption of nutritious food.
