Abstract
This is an illustrated report on the 32 Northern Fulmars investigated in the Netherlands in 2023 for the monitoring program of plastic particles in their stomachs. In addition six late delivered corpses of fulmars from 2021 and 2022 were investigated. This research is part of the international program that measures progress towards the so-called ‘Good Environmental Status (GES)’ in European marine waters. Full study results are published in formal annual research reports.
