Energieproducerende schermen

This report covers the results of research into the feasibility of electricity production by integrating PV in shading screens. Based on an innovative screen concept (DV system), consisting of a roll-up screen that can also be translated entirety, a stepless average shading factor can be achieved using a smart screen control. Various prototypes of flexible PV have been developed for the screen material with a focus on flexibility, reliability and robustness. The feasibility of such a system depends on the future value of electricity and the necessary developments in the field of flexible PV.
