Effect van Tarwegistconcentraat (TGC) op voeropname, productie en welzijn van melkgeiten - pilotstudie

In the present pilot study, we determined whether the addition of wheat yeast concentrate (TGC) to a standard dairy goat diet affects milk production, feed intake and other welfare indicators in dairy goats on two farms. The study shows that the feed with TGC was well consumed by the goats and that effects on feed intake, milk production and welfare were absent or relatively small and sometimes different between the farms. It is therefore advised to test the concept further.
