Economische, ecologische en sociaal-maatschappelijke effecten van eten van eigen eiland: Een verkenning voor een veerkrachtiger Texel met behulp van de KringloopToets

Options to improve the internal resilience of the island of Texel by increasing local consumption have been explored in cooperation with local entrepreneurs and employees of the municipality and the organisation National Park “Duinen van Texel”. By using the process and approach of the Nutrient Cycling Assessment Tool five scenarios have been explored. The impact on land use, economy, ecology nutrient cycling and social aspects have been calculated and assessed. These new insights have been used to identify potential options to improve the resilience of the island of Texel.
