Abstract
Chiral sulfur(VI) pharmacophores have recently emerged as promising motifs in medicinal chemistry due to their unique three-dimensional structure and tunable physicochemical properties. Despite their potential, the asymmetric synthesis of these compounds remains underdeveloped. This thesis explores the synthetic methodologies of chiral sulfur(VI) compounds through development of novel enantiospecific methodologies. The work is focus on the synthesis of sulfonimidamides, sulfurimidates and sulfuramidimidates via sulfur(VI) fluoride exchange (SuFEx) reactions.
