Abstract
Als herstelmaatregelen in oppervlaktewateren succesvol worden uitgevoerd, blijkt vaak dat de gewenste soorten niet of slechts gedeeltelijk terugkeren, ondanks gunstige abiotische omstandigheden. De oorzaak ligt waarschijnlijk in de mogelijkheden van de soorten, om de afstand af te leggen tussen het herstelgebied en dichtstbijzijnde populatie.
