This exploratory study offers tools for assessing the effectiveness of stimulating agroforestry and landscape elements for realizing policy goals. In addition, it also offers an evaluation framework for agroforestry entrepreneurs. The quantification of the (ecosystem) services of agroforestry and landscape elements is a central topic. Attention is paid to the usability of existing ecosystem calculation models, methodological adjustments to be able to follow different systems in a comparable way and how to consider the contextual differences of the location.
