Abstract
The aim of the Work package 1.4 INNOCHAIN (WP1.4) of ISAfruit is to develop a conceptual framework of the mechanisms underlying supply chain management, in particular chain innovativeness, of the European supply chains in such a way that performance can be maximized. The results of WP1.4 will contribute to the innovativeness of European fruit supply chains by providing an overview of successful supply chain management practices and by formulating recommendations and critical success factors for chains in the European fruit industry and their individual members. As determined by the project annex of ISAfruit, this deliverable (D1.4.1) gives the results of a review of major scientific publications on consumer driven, innovative, and cost efficient fruit$supply chains and critical success factors for chain performance. This literature study, therefore, goes into supply chain management and critical success factors and indicators for performance and innovation
