    Abstract

This publication presents eighteen models covering a large spectrum of modelling objectives, approaches and applications in the field of crop-water simulation. The three themes covered are: soil water balance simulation models for irrigation scheduling, water fluxes and crop growth simulation models, and models for irrigation management at system level. The models included here meet the following criteria: they have been calibrated against field data, and they are operational, i.e. users have access to and may rely on existing software for model implementations.
