Abstract

In the original article, under section conclusion, the 5th and 6th sentences were incorrectly published and they are revised in this correction as follows: Poor regions without any export activity, like Banten and Madura, had low inequality of roughly 25 Gini points. Slightly richer regions with export activity dominated by indigenous smallholders, such as West Sumatra and Jambi, had around 35 Gini points.
