    Abstract

    The conveyor channel (2) has a converging section followed by a diverging section. A conveyor device (1) comprises a conveyor channel (2) with inlet and exit openings (10-12), at least one channel wall being movable in the channel length direction, and a belt (50, 60) guided around parallel rollers (51, 52, 61, 62). At least part of the channel narrows from the inlet opening (10, 11) towards the exit opening (12), and this is followed by a part of the channel that widens out.
