Broeikasgasemissies uit landbouw in de nationale inventarisatie: Analyse van emissies in verschillende NIR sectoren ter vergelijking met LCA’s

Within the Convention on Climate Change member states report on their greenhouse gas emissions in national inventories (National Inventory Report; NIR). These inventories have strict geographical boundaries and arrangement towards types of activity. In a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) the focus is on emissions through the production of a unit of produce. Here all needed inputs like energy or raw materials are allocated to the product, irrespective of the location of origin. This report describes the NIR of the Netherlands, with the goal to provide insight in the differences between both methods in relation to agriculture.
