Bodem, landvormen en grondwater in het stroomgebied van de Raam en Boven Aa-Oost

The Soil Map of the Netherlands, the Geomorphological Map of the Netherlands and the Water Table Depth Model are base maps for describing the natural system in the Netherlands. In 2024 and 2025 these maps and associated data were updated for the catchments of de Raam and Boven Aa, which are part of the jurisdiction of the Aa en Maas water authority board (province of Noord-Brabant). A new method was used in which field work and mapping were combined in one area and digital soil mapping techniques were used. This method should improve the efficiency of map making. The maps and data have been included in the National Key Registry of the Subsurface (BRO) and are available to users via the broloket.nl and bodemdata.nl portals.
