Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This paper discusses the processes of nodulation and nitrogen fixation among Leguminosae tree species usually used in different agroforestry systems. Also included are the microbiological methods for studying rhizobia, the different methods used in determining whether a legume could fix nitrogen, isotope-based methods for nitrogen fixation measurement, estimation of nitrogen fixation in the field, and the methods based on nitrogen fixation transport products.
